On the spot, let yourself be tempted by a visit to the workshop-exhibition of Jean-Pierre, a passionate potter, and why not enjoy the unique experience of "getting your hands dirty" during a pottery initiation. A holiday combining heritage, craftsmanship and conviviality. Bicycle hire, Hiking trails, free cultural and artistic activities at Domaine de Chamarande.
Chamarande train station 200 m away, Paris accessible by RER C. Shops 2km away.
Semi-detached house in renovated former stables.
First floor: cathedral lounge with armchairs, banquettes, 140x190cm sofa bed, fireplace with insert (1st flambé offered), 80cm TV and WIFI (fiber optics).
Kitchen opening onto terrace with dining area and equipped with small fridge, 2-burner ceramic hob, small oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC.
Mezzanine bed 160x200cm. Baby bed, high chair and bathtub available on request.
Owners' shared garden and private terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and charcoal barbecue.
Parking for one car in the enclosed, secure shared courtyard.
Energy charges, end-of-stay cleaning, bed linen and towels included in the price.

Le gîte du potier est un charmant gîte à 35 km de Paris, situé dans une demeure campagnarde du 19ème siècle où vous pourrez profiter autant de sites d'escalade dans les bois de Chamarande que d'animations culturelles gratuites au château (expositions d'art contemporain, théâtre, cirque, danse, cinéma en plein air). Vous pourrez aussi découvrir le beau métier de Potier qu'exerce Jean-Pierre depuis 30 ans et qui se fera une joie de vous initier aux rudiments de modelage et de tournage dans son atelier. Jean-Pierre et Dominique vous accueilleront autour d'un verre de cidre et vous dévoileront tous les secrets de leur région.

Sylviane Petit séjour fort agréable
Séjour très agréable, nos hôtes ont pensé à tout pour l'équipement du gîte, on se sent presque chez soi.
Très bien situé pour le commerce, transport, pour randonner, ainsi que la balade dans le parc du château tout proche.

Mon séjour s'est parfaitement déroulé. Une petite escapade qui a permis de se déconnecter du quotidien dans un environnement charmant, sans compter le chaleureux accueil de Dominique et Jean-Pierre, des hôtes très accueillants et prévenants. Le parc du château de Chamarande accessible à pied permet de rapidement se promener en pleine nature, le tout dans un environnement calme. Je recommande vivement!

Ollie. Homely accommodation in fantastic location.
The accommodation has warmth and character. Great location with the train station so close as well as three incredible Chamarande park. This means you can get to the city in Paris, there are short drives to interesting towns and countryside as well as the park in your doorstep.
