Located 1 km from the village center, where you’ll find all the shops, this holiday cottage is in a Picardy-style house with a separate entrance (120 m²) and an enclosed courtyard (350 m²). Parking is available in the courtyard. Secure storage for bicycles. Veranda (24 m²). On the ground floor: fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, electric filter coffee maker, and Senseo coffee machine), washer and dryer, dining room, and living room. Internet connection. 1 bedroom (1 bed 140x190) opening onto the veranda. Bathroom (built-in bathtub and shower stall). 2 separate toilets.
On the first floor: 1 bedroom (1 bed 140x190), 1 bedroom (2 beds 90x190), separate toilet with sink.
Oil heating not included (approximately €13/day) except from May through September. Housekeeping deposit to be paid upon arrival. Tourist guest deposit: €350; business guest deposit: €600.
French-Australian World War I Museum in the village. Amiens is 17 km away (cathedral, hortillonnages, etc.), Flixecourt is 9 km away (Piscine with Wellbeing area, Ice rink). Somme Bay is 40 minutes away. Pets not allowed. Playground across from the holiday cottage. Smoking is not permitted inside the holiday cottage. For business guests, a maximum of 3 PEOPLE are allowed.

AubersAvo A gem of a find in the Somme region
What a super stay we had at La Milouniere. Mme Pernet was very welcoming on our arrival leaving beautiful, fresh flowers on the dining table, fresh eggs from her chickens as well as a jar of homemade apricot jam. The gite was very comfortable and was incredibly well equipped. With 3 x double bedrooms, 1 x children's/baby's bedroom, lounge, dining room, conservatory, bathroom and 3 x separate toilets it is a very good size. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of room - it would comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is a fridge/freezer/gas hob/oven/coffee maker/kettle/toaster and washing machine within the kitchen area and there is also a tumble dryer, if needed, in the outside storage area along with 2 x large airers which were great for drying clothes in the heat of the conservatory! It has a good, outside courtyard space with plenty of off-road parking and a small lawn to put out loungers, BBQ, etc (also provided). The gite is in a very good location within the Bay of The Somme with easy access on the A16 toll to lots of local attractions and the nearby city of Amiens. Within the village itself is a butcher, 2 x bakers, pharmacy, tabac, bank, garage, takeaway pizza outlet and a good sized Aldi. The neighbouring village of Flixecourt (approx 5 minutes away) was also very well equipped and this also had both Intermarche and Super U supermarkets and a post office. The local people were very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gite to anyone. It truly deserves the 5 star rating I have given it - thank you Mme Pernet!
