Barn of the old Picardy "ti'mère farm" (1870) restored, is located in a small green setting in the heart of the lively village animated by its shops. The layout is more contemporary and favors light and open spaces, on different levels: it is a "holiday" house with its terrace, its private garden, its barbecue, alongside the hens (no roosters! but with eggs!) and fruit trees, the Scandinavian wood fire in case of cold weather (electric heaters extra) gives it its warmth. It accommodates 5 people, families and friends in 60m2 on the ground (including 3 bedrooms upstairs) and allows you to experience peaceful and calm moments, "in the green".

In the village, off the N25 (Amiens-Doullens), detached house (100 m²) in a former farmhouse with independent access. Ground floor: equipped kitchen with central island (fridge/freezer) opening onto the living room (with access via a few steps) where you can use the Scandinavian wood-burning stove. Bathroom, separate WC. Upstairs (3/4 turn staircase): 1 WC, 3 attic bedrooms: 1 bedroom (1 bed 140), 1 bedroom (2 beds 90), 1 bedroom (1 bed 90 + 1 single drawer bed). Electric heating. Terrace, private enclosed garden (500 m²), portico. Petanque court. Cleaning and linen hire are compulsory for association bookings (payable on booking or on site). Bicycles available on request. Horses welcome (pasture). Only 1 Pets allowed, with deposit of €50/pet and cleaning package with an additional €20, i.e. €70 for the cleaning package, to be paid on site. Holiday cottage for 10 people nearby (communication on request). Holiday cottages are not open to business customers. Electric vehicle charging station 500 m away. Secure bicycle storage. Internet connection via fiber.

Le village a connu des heures de gloire au moment de l'essor des industries textiles et de l'exploitation des phosphates, qui ont laissé leurs traces sur la vie du village et sur ses architectures. Il reste vivant et animé par ses commerces ; Les chemins de promenades en campagne permettent un retour vers la nature. Les possibilités de pratiquer une activité sportive sont nombreuses (tennis, équitation, accrobranche, piscine, espaces aquatiques sur Amiens etc.). Un marché local le jeudi à Doullens regroupe des producteurs locaux; Le tourisme de proximité est varié: grottes de Naours, château de Lucheux, Citadelle de Doullens, etc. La côte picarde est à 60kms, Amiens ses hortillons, son espace aquatique et sa cathédrale à 25kms, ARRAS ses places flamandes à 30kms et Paris à 2h de voiture. Les jardins d'exception en périphérie valent le détour pour les passionnés (Daon, Maizicourt, Sericourt, les Hennebelle à Boubers /Canche).

VB Gorgeous holiday home with loads of charme
La ferme de Timere is a very charming gite, a smaller part of an ancient farm, that includes a second, larger gite. Nevertheless it is very private, absolutely quiet and as the photos truly depict offers a calm, beautiful garden, with a very cozy terrace. The old farm building has been transformed in a holiday home designed not only in practical way but with a lot of taste (choice of furniture, pictures - very good beds!). The gite is very well equipped (kitchen, outdoor furntiture, modern TV, wood stove), perfectly clean and the host's welcome is warm.
If you like playing boule/ pétanque the gite is perfect, as it offers a specially done-up court to play.
At Beauval the gite is ideally located to do sightseeing (WWI - museums/ locations cemetaries, cathedrals/ interesting towns, short distance to the coast etc.), easy hikes and spend a relaxing time as there are not many tourists around and the locals are laid-back, very friendly and open for a chat. There is a really good butcher, a smaller newsagent (with a depot de pain), a post office, and a pharmacy in Beauval, and the nearest boulangerie and supermarket is only a couple of minutes' drive at Doullens, where a market takes place once a week and where you find a very friendy welcome at the tourist information. Amiens with great shopping facilities is just half an hour by car.
We spent two wonderful, thoroughly relaxing weeks at La Ferme de Timere. Thank you very much Patrice!- Cleanliness

Famille BL Gîte chaleureux
Le gîte a été fraichement rénové et est vraiment très chaleureux : idéal pour l'accueil des familles avec enfants, avec la balançoire, les poules et le petit cheval ("Libellule") qui vient passer la tête par dessus la haie pour faire un petit coucou et glaner du pain sec ou quelques pommes...
La proximité d'un deuxième gîte n'est absolument pas problématique, le jardin étant privatif...
Le propriétaire était indisponible le jour de notre arrivée, mais les portes nous ont été ouvertes par des amis qui nous ont bien fait passer toutes les informations (sur le gîte, remise de différentes sorties à prévoir dans le département, etc.). A son retour, le propriétaire s'est avéré très sympathique, disponible, compréhensif, mais pas envahissant...
Beauval est un petit village avec un certain charme et assez calme... peut-être trop, pour les commerçants locaux qui ont fermé peu avant notre arrivée...
Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire dans la région (hortillonages, réserves naturelles, patrimoine, visite des sites commémoratifs...), et le gîte est un excellent pied à terre pour se reposer entre deux visites...
Bref, aucun problème : le séjour ne nous laisse que des bons souvenirs.

Agréable séjour lieu accueillant le propriétaire froid au premier abord mais discussion très agréable à la fin de notre séjour
C’est un endroit situé au calme avec un super terrain petit bémol la supérette ainsi que la boulangerie du village sont fermés
