La Charmeraie

In the countryside, 10 minutes from the sea and 7 kms from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, for a day or two, a weekend or more, with family or friends, we offer you a warm welcome in our house, completed in 2014, set in 6900 m² of enclosed grounds with secure parking. Inspired by the Anglo-Saxon style with its bow-windows and noble materials (brick, wood and slate), La Charmeraie offers the appeal of an "old-fashioned" home with today's comforts. The park, with over 140 ornamental and fruit trees, and the flower garden, with over 400 different species of flowers and plants, are entirely dedicated to biodiversity. A promise of relaxation and calm, close to the Baie de Somme, with many activities nearby. Discover the Baie de Somme as you wish... The Parc du Marquenterre will delight nature-lovers, as will seal-watching at Cap Hornu. Crossing the Bay on foot with a guide and returning on the Chemin de Fer de La Baie de Somme train is an unforgettable experience. Or perhaps you'd prefer to hike or bike, play golf or tennis, try your hand at canoeing or kayaking, or take a guided trip on the Baie de Somme boats...and then, relax and unwind on our terraces overlooking the flower garden and wooded park, where it's not unusual to see pairs of pheasants catching their breath, a flock of wild geese flying over the property and recognize the songs of tree finches, blackbirds, wagtails, woodpeckers... all these resident birds nestling in our trees and hedges.

7 km from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and the Baie de Somme, the house offers 2 bed and breakfast rooms (Ysaline and Gabriel) and 1 suite with 2 bedrooms (Charles and Léonie), located on the first floor of the owners' house.¶
The Ysaline and Gabriel rooms: 1 bed 160 × 200 each. and a Charles and Léonie suite with 1 room with a bed 140 × 200¶ and 1 room with 2 single beds 90 × 200.¶
The Ysaline and Gabriel rooms have a private bathroom with a 90 × 90 shower and WC. The Charles and Léonie Suite rooms share a private bathroom with a 90 × 90 shower and separate toilet.¶
The rooms are under the eaves with exposed beams and oak parquet flooring with bespoke furniture, Louis-Philippe style. Facilities : Wi-Fi, 4K UHD connected TV with Smart TV functions.¶
Breakfast served on the first floor under the veranda, whatever the weather. Available: common room with relaxation area, lounge, refrigerator, microwave, 4K connected UHD TV.¶
Enclosed, secure grounds of 6,900 m², with alarm system and video surveillance, wooded parkland and flower garden. Secure parking in enclosed courtyard.¶
