The Gîte de la Vallée Saint Martin is located within the grounds of an old farmhouse which was rebuilt after the 1st World War, almost 1 century ago and renovated since. This gîte benefits from a large leisure area out of sight with a view of the fields and the woods. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset comfortably seated on the terrace. The most natural: hens, herbs and a few tomatoes in summer........ Walks in the valley of the sum (Eclusier-vaux, Cappy...). Upstairs:1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), 2 bedrooms (with 1 bed 140x190), 1 bedroom (2 beds 90x190), shower room with WC. Oil heating (extra charge). Table soccer and darts in garage. Milouse Vacances ludiques et reposantes
Un gîte fonctionnel, des petits soucis d'intendance réglés sur le champ par des propriétaires charmants.Nous connaissions la baie de somme mais l'intérieur des terres vaut le détour, très belle découverte d'Amiens,de Lewarde, etc.....Commerces éloignés mais quelle tranquillité!!

WillStaffy Spacious and comfortable house
Une maison spacieuse et confortable, avec un grand jardin. Situé au cœur des champs de bataille de la Somme, c'est une base idéale pour explorer les nombreux musées, monuments et cimetières de la région.
Son prix était très raisonnable et représentait un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais il bénéficierait d'une légère rénovation, car certains des accessoires et des luminaires étaient plutôt fatigués.
Le propriétaire était accueillant et extrêmement serviable, et a appelé plusieurs fois pendant notre séjour, pour vérifier que nous étions bien et que nous n'avaions besoin de rien.

Nous avons vérifié tous les luminaires et il est vrai certaines ampoules étaient à changer. Nous avons contrôlé les différents accessoires et constaté que le robinet thermostatique de la douche du bas qui avait été changé l'année dernière présentait un défaut. Nous l'avons donc changé pour un autre modèle. Je suis toujours à l'écoute de mes hôtes et dès qu'un problème survient à condition d'en être informée, j'interviens le plus rapidement possible. Cette semaine a été particulière avec la pluie et des températures plutôt fraîches c'est pourquoi j'ai remis le chauffage. Le confort de mes hôtes est essentiel pour moi. Cordialement

Steve Beautiful farm house
This is a beautiful farm house on a working arable farm. Warm and comfortable. Lots of room and a huge garage with table football. All the normal facilities and very well equipped. There were four adults and two toddlers in our party so the three bathrooms came in very handy as did the large garden in which the kids and in fact all of us could let off steam. Kids also loved feeding the chickens with the left over scraps. Cottage also very handy for the battlefields with plenty of field walking straight from the door. Lovely warm welcome from Madam who we will see next year when we will return.
