A long time ago, at the beginning of the 20th century, the building housed a school of foam for the Navy. When I bought it, it was nothing more than a barn with a perforated roof, no wall on the garden side, no doors, no windows. It took a lot of ingenuity from a group of young architects to breathe new life into the building, ideally located in the heart of the medieval city. With the stroke of a magic pencil, the architects have transformed a ruin into a delightful cottage for two people. A bright living room with its two windows overlooking the garden, and the bay window leading to a 9 m2 terrace bathed in sunshine from morning to evening. The kitchen area is discreet in the main room. The light wood panels that adorn part of the walls in all the rooms bring a warm and soft note to the look. Architectural sobriety and modernism in all the rooms guarantee you an excellent stay, and the two cats perched in the gutters watch over your sleep.

    Gite parfait

    Très beau gîte au calme, très bien situé dans la cité médiévale. Proche de toutes commodités. On a fait de superbes randonnées en partant du gîte. Il ne manque rien et l'hygiène est irréprochable. La literie top et très bon accueil de la propriétaire. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter.

    Emplacement calme

    Gîte bien placé dans la ville médiévale. Un peu bruyant la journée mais calme la nuit.
    Dommage que le jardin ne soit pas entretenu. Vue sur la terrasse un peu délabrée, en partie occultée par toile marron peu esthétique.
    Heureusement qu'il y a beaucoup à voir dans les environs donc on reste peu à l'intérieur.

    Calme et détente

    Un séjour très agréable calme et impressionnant pour les paysages la baie est magnifique les couleurs les oiseaux les phoques un enchantement. Le gîte était pratique et fonctionnel bien situé dans la cité médiéval.
    Tout était très bien je recommande vivement un séjour à Saint Valery sur Somme.

    Semaine réussie

    Super gîte dans la ville médiévale !!! Restaurants et petit commerce à proximité, croissants chauds a 7h00 à la boulangerie. L accueil de la propriétaire était très sympathique et de bons conseils pour les visites touristiques de la semaine. A recommander à nos amis.
