Dunkirk 34 km. vulcanus Gepflegte Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung
Auf der Suche nach einer ebenerdigen Unterkunft, auch mit Hinblick auf unseren älteren Hund, haben wir auch wieder über GdF gebucht, was sehr unkompliziert ist, zumal man sich auf die Angaben verlassen kann wegen der Einstufung der Unterkunft.
Zum Meer sind es per Auto ca 30 Minuten, aber der sehr gepflegte Ort hat eine Grundversorgung mit Bäcker / Bistrot / Fleischerei, wobei alles in sehr gepflegtem Zustand ist. Auch kann man abends noch einen leinen Rundgang machen über eine Streuobstwiese mit alten Obstsorten und durch ein angeschlossenes, begehbares Biotop.
Der Ort ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt zu vielen interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten, sowohl landschaftlich als auch auch geschichtlich wie z B "Le Blockhaus", der Ort, wo die V 1 und V 2 Raketen zusammengebaut und verschossen wurden ( V 1).
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten größerer Art sind nur gut 5 km weit entfernt in zwei Orten (Watten und Audruicq). Zum Ort Bergues, wo überwiegend der bekannte Film "Willkommen bei den Schti`s)" gedreht wurde, ist in 30 Min zu erreichen ; auch ein sehr gepflegter Ort mit breitem Angebot an Einzelhandel und Gastronomie. Zur Fähre nach GB bzw dem Eurotunnel kommt man auch sehr schnell. Sicherlich eine Reise wert, nicht nur wegen der imposanten Steilküste vom Cap de BLanc Nez, die man ebenfalls in einer halben Stunde ereichen kann. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Nala et compagnie Séjour à la campagne
Comme d'habitude,jamais déçus par les réservations Gîtes de France ! Il faut apprécier le calme de la campagne... nous avions notre compagnon "à quatre pattes" avec nous. De nombreuses possibilités de promenade aux alentours et de belles choses à voir sur la côte !
