You've arrived at Jean-Claude and his wife's 6-person Holiday cottage in La Couture, a simple, quiet place where you'll quickly feel at home. Entirely renovated with care over the years, this place has preserved the soul of the property thanks to the enhancement of original features such as old doors, woodwork and fences. This authentic charm is now harmonized with contemporary decoration and quality equipment, designed for your comfort. Here, everything has been imagined to offer a gentle, comfortable and stress-free stay. From the house and terrace, you can enjoy a vast garden opening onto the surrounding Countryside. Fields as far as the eye can see and the edges of the Forest create a soothing atmosphere, ideal for getting away from it all. The Holiday cottage's location also makes it easy to explore the surrounding area: Béthune is just a few minutes away, with its Grand-Place, Flemish facades and UNESCO-listed belfry. A little further afield, the Nord-Pas-de-Calais coalfield reveals a unique landscape of impressive slag heaps, mining towns and industrial heritage, notably around Lens and the famous Louvre-Lens museum. For a relaxing break in nature, the Flandre Lys nautical base is ideal: pedal-boat, canoe or electric boat trips on calm waters, along canals lined with greenery. And to complete your stay, the surrounding area has many surprises in store: Hiking trails on the slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle, the charming villages of Artois, or the city of Arras with its spectacular Baroque squares and friendly atmosphere. Bathroom with walk-in shower, sink (with seat), and toilet with grab bar. First bedroom with a 160x200cm bed, walk-in closet, and desk.
