In the heart of a 16-hectare wooded estate where the former Saint-Casimir institute and boarding school once stood, this atypical 70m² house was successively home to priests before becoming the park warden's house and now a welcoming gîte for a pleasant stay just a stone's throw from the town of Béthune. Inside the park where the gîte is located, you'll find the Saint-Casimir educational farm, with its mix of chickens, donkeys, sheep... an orchard/ market garden, a grocery store, a traditional wood-fired bakery... You'll be lodged in the heart of the forest, with nature at your fingertips for beautiful walks.

4km from Béthune (Art-Deco town), 20km from the Louvre-Lens, and 35km from the squares of Arras, its restaurants and shops. 5km from Loisinord, northern France's must-see sports site, with its lake and ski slope on a 129 m-high slag heap at Nœux-les-Mines. Close to the Via Francigena pilgrimage route.

70m² Holiday cottage with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs, directly on the edge of the Forest. Parking space inside the park reserved for the Holiday cottage. Unfenced garden.

On the first floor, you'll find the fully-equipped kitchen: 200l fridge with freezer compartment, 3-burner vitroceramic hob, built-in oven, microwave, kettle, filter coffee maker, raclette machine etc... Living room: 4-seater sofa, 80cm flat-screen TV, dining area and working fireplace. 5m² shower room with 90x90cm shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs you'll find a bedroom with a 160x200cm bed. A bedroom with 2 90x200cm beds.
