Gîte du marquais

"Le gite du marquais" or the story of a family. This gite in Marquéglise, a small village of 500 inhabitants, has a real family history. Philippe, along with his wife Sylvie, took over the gite, which had been run by his parents for several years, and brought it up to date.

The village's peaceful setting is ideal for relaxing holidays, nature walks (hiking trails 500 m away) or forest walks, as well as exploring nearby tourist attractions: 15 km from Château de Compiègne, 17 km from Abbaye de Chiry-Ourscamps, 29 km from Château de Pierrefonds, 54 km from Parc Astérix, 60 km from Château de Chantilly, 88 km from Paris.

Rates do not include electric heating (billed according to consumption), bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are available as optional extras to make your stay easier and more pleasant.

Sylvie and Philippe welcome you to their 65 m² self-contained 2-level gîte for 4 people with 2 bedrooms.

On the first floor, you'll find an entrance hall, a shower room (65x65 cm shower, vanity unit, hairdryer) and WC.
You'll also find a living room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, 4-burner gas hob) - a lounge with a sofa and 2 armchairs, 80 cm TV, old decorative stove. A 2nd reading room on the ground floor is equipped with a sofa.

Upstairs: 2 attic bedrooms for 2 people (2 beds 90x 190 cm in the first bedroom and 1 bed 140 x190 cm in the second); cot and high chair.

Enclosed courtyard with parking for 1 or 2 vehicles, garden (250m²), garden furniture, barbecue.
