Pauline has thought of everything to make your stay a success: beds made up on arrival, towels and household linen included, wood for the fireplace available.

Opening onto a 2-hectare wooded park totally enclosed and shared with the owners, the Haut Clocher gîte faces the horizon. It offers an unobstructed, unobstructed view of the Vexin.

The owners have designed their project with privacy and tranquility in mind. The Gite overlooks Pauline's pastures, and you're sure to see her feeding her horses in the evening. Alone, with friends or family, you're sure to be enchanted. Lovers of stones, beams, volumes and characterful houses...welcome.

You'll enjoy a spacious, convivial 50m² living room with open-plan kitchen and wood-burning stove. Two bedrooms complete the 105m² living space.

You can also take advantage of the swimming pool in the gîte's garden (the owners may share it with you, but only from 4 to 6 pm). The pool is unheated and open from May 15 to September 15. WIFI

    Plouf, balle et cotcot

    un endroit pour se ressourcer dans un immense jardin envahi d'herbes folles, d'arbres fruitiers ; les chevaux au loin, les poules qui viennent vous dire bonjour et Myrtille la chienne qui cherche toujours à jouer avec vous.
    Un intérieur atypique, même si c'est la rénovation d'une ancienne grange.
    Et une situation au carrefour de lieux emblématiques, d'un côté Giverny et la Roche-Guyon, de l'autre Chantilly, Royaumont....
    Et un plus : la grande piscine !!!

    Une famille britannique a adoré notre séjour. Merc

    Nous avons passé une semaine formidable. Un excellent point de départ pour explorer les châteaux et les belles villes de la région. Pour un premier voyage en famille avec notre plus jeune fils, c'était idéal. Facile d'accès en voiture depuis Calais et accès facile à Paris, Disney, etc.

    La seule chose que je n'avais pas anticipée, c'est la difficulté des sols durs avec un bébé qui commence à ramper, haha !

    Mimi la chienne et les poules étaient d'une excellente compagnie. Nous avons utilisé la piscine tous les jours, même sous la pluie et dans le froid. La couverture assure une chaleur agréable à l'intérieur.

    Les hôtes étaient très sympathiques, même si nous les avons à peine vus. Un excellent compromis entre intimité et proximité en cas de problème, ce qui n'a pas été le cas pendant notre séjour.

    Je recommande vivement pour un petit voyage en famille.

    A hidden gem !

    We have stayed all over France during the last 9-10 years. We have seen our fair share of what Gite de France has to offer. This is one of the best Gites we have stayed in. It's in great condition - perfect for five persons. The garden is wast, with an abandoned (unfortunately) tennis court, and plenty of shaded areas. Oh yeah - and three chickens and a friendly dog.

    But why did you not give it five stars all the way through, you ask ?
    Let me elaborate; the pool. It was great, but had a tendency to form green algae in the corners of the pool, where direct sunligt could not reach (due to the cover). That can be scrubbed clean. Maybe this will change when the weather improves - we had 20-25 degrees - and the owner jumps in themselves ?

    Abyhoo; we would love to come back !
