Eppe-Sauvage lies on the Belgian border, in the heart of the Avesnois Regional Nature Park. In the past, the village was home to a seigniory, bearing witness to its ancient past.
Today, the village of Eppe-Sauvage owes its reputation to the Val Joly tourist resort, set in the heart of the Forest and bordering a 180-hectare Lake. Here you can go sailing, canoeing, pedal-boating or fishing.... There are also Hiking and cycling trails around the Lake, making the commune ideal for a peaceful vacation in harmony with nature, as well as for a wide range of outdoor activities, both sporting and otherwise.
Ideally located, the village of Eppe-Sauvage is a perfect base for enjoying the sights of the Nord region, such as the nearby Fourmies Ecomuseum, or the various departmental Museums such as the Gallo-Roman site at Bavay, as well as discovering Belgium (Chimay 16 km away).
75 m² Holiday cottage in Countryside, pets welcome.
First floor: open-plan fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, 3 gas hobs and one electric). Living room with pellet stove, sofa with two seats and two armchairs, 80cm TV, WIFI (fiber optic).
Separate WC (sanibroyeur). Bedroom with 140x190cm bed, bathroom with bath (shower screen), washbasin and washing machine.
Upstairs: Mezzanine with reading area, two attic bedrooms, each with a 90x190cm bed. Baby bed and high chair available.
Adjoining 50m² terrace, not overlooked, with garden furniture and barbecue. Two private parking spaces in front of the Holiday cottage.
Holiday cottage all utilities included: energy costs, bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning. Two bags of pellets per week are provided for the stove.
5km from the Val Joly tourist resort, 15km from the Sars Poteries glass museum, 30km from Maubeuge.

C'était un plaisir d'être accueilli par les propriétaires, sympathiques et arrangeants. Tout est bien pensé dans ce gite, il ne manque absolument rien.
Confort, propreté et des ingrédients à disposition auxquels nous n'aurions pas pensé ( dosettes de café , sucre.. ). Et ce qui ne gâche rien, un environnement reposant, joli et calme.

gite avec un tres beau style interieur ,bien èquipè, belle terrasse,au calme, petit parc clos en face du gite ideal pour les petits ,avec fauteuils relax ,cafè avec restaurations et èpicerie dans le village ,et le superbe lac du val joly a 3 kms environs ,avec plusieurs balades,des jeux pour les enfants,golf, pedalos, restaurations,locations de vèlos,tablespour le pic nic, chiens autoriser en laisse, baignade interdite,

C'est avec un grand plaisir que nous sommes revenus dans ce havre de paix en campagne, dans la petite suisse du Nord.

Aurore_91150 Un gîte qui porte bien son nom
Le gîte est spacieux, propre et dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer un très bon séjour. Le tout dans un cadre d'un calme plus qu'agréable. Que cela fait du bien !
Par ailleurs, la base de loisirs du ValJoly,à environ 5 kilomètres, permet de s'adonner à bons nombres d'activités, de boire un petit verre, de manger une bonne glace et de faire les boutiques !Nous remercions infiniment Madame Dieu pour son accueil chaleureux et ses gentilles attentions à notre arrivée. Nous avons vraiment passé un très bon moment et nous reviendrons sûrement pour un séjour plus long.
