Welcome to Bruille-lez-Marchiennes, a charming village located between Douai, Valenciennes, and Lille, right next to the vast natural landscapes of the mining basin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its 7 bedrooms and spacious living areas, L’Ostrevant is the ideal destination for groups seeking comfort, a warm atmosphere, and tranquility.

This large, self-contained holiday cottage can accommodate up to 14 people and offers several features particularly appreciated for group stays: two rooms adapted for guests with limited mobility, a spacious outdoor area, private parking for 6 vehicles, and a variety of amenities for enjoying pleasant moments together.

Outside, enjoy a secluded garden, a large 200 m² terrace, outdoor furniture, and a charcoal grill for hosting meals and relaxing outdoors.

Nature lovers will appreciate the immediate proximity to hiking trails, notably the Sentier de la Motte, a 4.8-km marked trail accessible from the village. The varied landscapes of the Scarpe-Escaut Regional Nature Park invite you to go for walks, bike rides, and explore the remarkable biodiversity found among forests, marshes, ponds, and protected natural areas.

Just 2 km away, Lake Rieulay offers an ideal setting for family walks, outdoor activities, and kids’ play. Eight kilometers away, the famous Lewarde Historic Mining Center—France’s largest mining museum—lets you discover the fascinating history of the mining basin.
