Hondschoote, renowned for its flax country, invites you to discover its charms all year round. From May to September, let yourself be seduced by the cycling trails that take you through the flax fields, where information panels reveal the stages in the life of this fascinating plant.

The surrounding area is also full of treasures to explore: Belgium is just 1 km away, while the picturesque towns of Bergues and Bray-Dunes, as well as the seaside resorts of Dunkirk, Malo and La Panne (Côte d'Opale), are less than 25 km away. For a cultural getaway, don't miss Gravelines, Lille and Bruges, all less than an hour's drive away. Ferries to England from Dunkirk.
