A private enclosed parking lot is also at your disposal for a peaceful stay, and the experience continues as soon as you leave the Holiday cottage, with numerous hiking and cycling trails directly accessible from the village. Volckerinckhove, which has been awarded the "Pays de Flandre" Heritage Village label, is a charming, authentic village with a well-preserved heritage: a 17th-century thatched cottage, a 12th-century church, restored chapels, Flemish houses and local traditions. The village and surrounding area also live to the rhythm of the famous Flemish carnivals, for a unique cultural immersion experience.
