Explore this superb haven of greenery nestled in the heart of the bocage of the Parc Naturel Régional de l'Avesnois, a region rich in sites to discover on foot, by bike or even on horseback. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Countryside by staying in this secluded brick and bluestone cottage typical of the area, adjoining two houses and set back from the road by a 250-meter private lane.
A harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, this accommodation is ideal for families, friends or colleagues. Take a stroll around the 20 hectares of meadowland surrounding the property, where horses and donkeys roam, with a small unfenced pond.
Avesnes-sur-Helpe, Aulnoye Aymeries 8km away. Maroilles 7km away. ValJoly tourist resort 28km. Valenciennes 43km away.
No electric car charging station available. Recharging prohibited. Biker welcome label. Les Nuits Secrètes festival 12 minutes away.

Magnifique gîte. Dès l'arrivée Delphine nous accueille avec une bouteille de jus de pommes en guise de bienvenue, et Yves, son mari nous rejoint. Les photos publiées sur le site sont l'exact reflet de ce que nous avons decouvert. Une belle maison ancienne rénovée et décorée avec goût. La région est verdoyante et les gens du nord très accueillants. Un véhicule est indispensable pour découvrir cette belle région et vous aurez de nombreux dépliants à disposition pour préparer vos sorties. Nous sommes arrivés avec la pluie mais repartis avec la chaleur dans nos cœurs. Merci à nos hôtes et bon séjour à Dompierre-sur-Helpe

Family of 4 Restful escape from the city
This was a great place to stay with our family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to watch the cows in the surrounding pastures. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped.

in de buurt genoeg te doen. leuke stadjes en musea in de regio.
op het erf allerlei spelletjes en paal-tennis
wij en onze kinderen hebben ons zeer goed vermaakt.enige nadeel zijn de lage balken in het huis; dan stoot je je hoofd soms letterlijk als je 1.92 meter bent.
verder heel fijn, schoon, groot huis van alle gemakken voorzien.
