This old character house has been completely restored and now houses three comfortable Holiday cottages, as well as a café, hiking and restaurant area and a communal market hall. Conceived as a real place to live, the ensemble encourages encounters, exchanges and relaxation in a warm, high-quality atmosphere. You'll enjoy a communal courtyard equipped for bicycle parking and maintenance, with a charging point for electric bikes, a cleaning station and an inflation area. Ideally situated on the network of cycling hubs, Dourlers is a strategic starting point for discovering the rolling countryside of the "Little Switzerland of the North". Nearby, on the French side, discover the MusVerre at 7.5 km, the ramparts of Avesnes-sur-Helpe at 9 km, the village of Maroilles at 16 km, famous for its cheese, and the City of Maubeuge at 16 km. On the Belgian side, you're just 10 km from the border and can reach Chimay at around 25 km, Mons at around 60 km and the Eau d'Heure dams at around 35 km, offering a wide range of outdoor and water sports activities. The area also offers circuits around abbeys and many opportunities for Hiking and cycling between France and Belgium. The village is within walking distance of a multi-sports ground, a pétanque court and play areas for Kids, making this Holiday cottage an ideal place for couples, families or friends to relax, enjoy nature and discover the cross-border region.
