In this former farmhouse on the outskirts of the village, you'll find two adjoining 6-person Holiday cottages that have been lovingly renovated by the owners. You can book both Holiday cottages at the same time, for a total capacity of 12 people, under reference 236812. All shops are a 5-minute drive away, and there's a bar-brewery just 50 m from the Holiday cottages.
Situated on the Belgian border, Hondschoote is the starting point for exploring the Flemish coastline with its sandy beaches, the famous Flanders mountains, the cities of Bergues and Dunkirk and the many sites of the First World War... Come and discover Flanders, a vibrant and dynamic area offering many walking and cycling trails. The owner provides a garage for parking bikes and motorcycles. Cyclists love to come by bike: 16 km from Bergues train station via the "points noeuds" network and other Countryside roads. Bergues 15min away, Bray-Dunes Beach 20min away, Dunkirk 25min away, Cassel 30min away.

On the first floor, entrance into the living room with corner sofa, 110cm smart TV and WIFI. Open kitchen with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, 4 induction hobs...
Bathroom with spacious Italian shower and washing machine, separate WC. One bedroom with a 160x200cm bed.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with a view over the Flanders countryside and each equipped with two 90x200cm beds, which can be twinned to form a double bed on request. Separate WC.
Chair and cot available on request. Heating by pellet stove.
Private terrace and garden of approx. 100m² with garden furniture and barbecue. Three gated parking spaces.

Their recommendations for things to do were also very helpful.
The location was stunning and the countryside surroundings were wonderful and relaxing, and being so close to Belgium meant we could head across the border whenever we wanted to.

Nous avons reçu un super accueil de la part de Xavier et de sa femme. Xavier nous avait préparé un tuto sur un ensemble d'activités pour les enfants, de site à découvrir et de diverses adresses de commerces de proximité et restaurants. Bref le programme des vacances nous attendait sur place et elles furent excellentes.
La région est pleine de surprise, beaucoup d'activités, sites a visiter et balade à faire entre France et Belgique, plages ou se poser à 1/4 de route. quelque soit la météo on ne peut pas s'ennuyer.
Le gite est très confortable, pratique, bien équipé et le style "industriel" bien pensé.
en résumé: entre l'accueil et la bienveillance de Xavier, le confort du gite et sa situation géographique proche des plages et de la Belgique , je recommande- Cleanliness
