A haven of peace for lovers of nature, fishing and outdoor activities, the Holiday cottage invites you to discover the marsh in a different way, thanks to the two canoes at your disposal. Glide along the water's edge through the canals and typical landscapes of France's last remaining market garden marsh, with its wildlife, floating gardens and local traditions. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy a private pontoon at the water's edge (permit required), ideal for teasing pike, carp, roach and other marsh fish. Walkers, cyclists and boaters can explore the surrounding countryside at the peaceful pace of nature, and don't miss the chance to discover local know-how with a visit to the workshop of the last manufacturer of bacôves and escutes, the traditional boats of the Audomarois marshes.
The Holiday cottage is also ideally located for discovering the treasures of the region: - Saint-Omer is 15 minutes away, - Cassel, voted "Village Préféré des Français", is 25 minutes away, - Dunkirk and the beaches of the Côte d'Opale are 45 minutes away.
