Outside, enjoy a peaceful environment conducive to relaxation, with the Forest just a few steps away: Hiking, cycling, nature-watching or simply taking a break in the greenery... here, the change of scenery is immediate. The vast Forest offers miles of Hiking trails. Paris Roubaix's famous "trouée d'Aremberg" can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car, or around 20 minutes by bike. An interesting detail: Hasnon is also known as the darting capital of the world. The Holiday cottage is ideally located for discovering: - the spa town of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (Thermal baths, pasino, museum, port, theater, lively square with restaurants, various shops) - the paths and ponds of the Scarpe-Escaut Park, - the Wallers-Arenberg mining site, -Valenciennes, Lille or Tournai for your cultural escapades.

Valenciennes is 20 minutes away, Villeneuve d'Ascq's Stade Pierre Mauroy (Décathlon Arena) 25 minutes, Lille-Lesquin Airport 30 minutes, Lewarde and Douai's Historic Mining Center 35 minutes, and Lille 40 minutes. Just a few minutes from the Holiday cottage, discover the famous Parc du Faisan doré, a pleasant wildlife and leisure park much appreciated by families. Set in lush greenery on the banks of the Scarpe River, this free park is home to numerous animals (goats, ponies, peacocks, farmyard birds, etc.) and offers play areas for Kids: slides, swings, little train, zip-line and relaxation area. Picnic tables, a family atmosphere and close proximity to nature make this an ideal place for a family outing during your stay.
