As soon as you step through the gates, you'll fall under the spell of the site overlooking the village, with an exceptional panorama of French and Belgian Flanders.
Surrounded by a vast park and 8,000 m² of private lawn, our gîte offers an idyllic setting for a peaceful vacation.
The living room opens onto a flower-filled terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.
In the heart of the village you'll find many picturesque hiking trails, traditional estaminets, shops and the museum of frontier life.
Nearby, the Abbaye du Mont des Cats offers an atmosphere steeped in history and charm. Stroll through the towns and villages of Flanders and discover its windmills, belfries, 14/18 remembrance trails and long sandy beaches...

Ground floor: Gllum is cool living room with 80 cm TV and WIFI.
Fitted kitchen with 4 hotplates, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine.
Bathroom with 90x90cm shower. Separate WC.
Upstairs: one bedroom with double bed 160x200cm and one 10m² bedroom with three single beds 90x190cm. Cot available.
Private, enclosed 8,000 m² garden, 36 m² terrace with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue.
Private parking in the courtyard for two cars.
Energy costs, bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Davies's Wonderful stay
We recently stayed at this beautiful gîte in Godewaersvelde with our family, and it was a wonderful experience. The gîte is nestled in a beautifully-kept vast garden, offering a peaceful and private setting. Our children loved having plenty of space to explore and play.
Stargazing here is fantastic, and we were lucky enough to catch a meteor shower. The owners are very welcoming and provided great tips on local attractions, making us feel right at home.
This was our second stay, and it has perfectly suited our family both times. We also enjoyed day trips to nearby spots like Zuydcoote, De Panne, Ypres, Lille, and Lens, all easily accessible from the gîte.
Once again, a fantastic stay, and we look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Beran Calme et détente
Ravis de retrouver une nouvelle fois cet écrin de calme au bout du chemin et la superbe vue sur le parc si bien entretenu par le travail constant du propriétaire.Les écureuils et les oiseaux apprécient aussi. Les villages des Monts de Flandre aux alentours ont su préserver leur caractère et les balades sont nombreuses et variées.
