Fréhart, this magnificent place in the Avesnois bocage, is an old farmhouse partially renovated as Holiday cottages. Popular with amateur photographers for its unusual charm, it lies 3km from the Mormal national forest and 1.5km from the City of Bavay, an ancient Gallo-Roman town.

In this Regional Park, many discoveries await you: Vauban architecture in Le Quesnoy and Maubeuge, ancient military forts, Museums (marble, glass, pottery, painting, ancient history), as well as local products and specialties such as apples, cheeses (including the famous Maroilles), honey, beer and farm produce.
