Suitable for seminars and leisure activities all year round, it's close to the tourist office, the Rural Life Museum and 3 Hiking trails. For everyone's peace and quiet, dancing and noisy parties are strictly forbidden.

The Holiday cottage des Iris is an ideal location for seminars and leisure activities, in the heart of the village and close to residential areas.
Guests are entirely responsible for the safety of their Kids and for any disturbance caused to the neighborhood.
Hosts must make as little noise as possible so as not to disturb the residents of neighboring properties, especially during the night (11 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and on arrival and departure.
Noise disturbance is forbidden at all hours and may result in termination of the rental contract, eviction and loss of any expenses incurred.
1 night at weekends: 10am-6pm. Public holidays on request. 2 nights: Friday 4pm-Sunday 6pm. Weekdays: 4pm-10am.
Bed linen provided.
Steenwerck train station 2km away. Local shops and supermarket 8km away.

Caro Week end exceptionnel au gite de Steenwerck
Nous avons passé un week end exceptionnel pour un mariage avec toute notre famille. Le gite est propre, fonctionnel, très confortable et immense. Nous étions 30. Je recommande +++ avec une mention spéciale pour Madame Bouchery et Madame Vranesic qui ont été d'une grande gentillesse et disponibilité. Elles ont tout très bien géré, une visite avec notre fils en amont, ont su répondre à toutes nos questions et demandes. Un grand merci à elles qui ont contribué à la réussite de cet événement familial

Fanny Gite plein de charme et très bien équipé
Le gîte communal de Steenwerck est un endroit idéal pour un week-end en famille ou entre amis. C'est un lieu plein de charme et très bien équipé. Les espaces de vie sont vastes, il y a un petit jardin et la possibilité d'accéder au jardin public depuis celui-ci. Mes amis et moi avons passé un excellent week-end dans ce gîte.

Sophie Beau gîte agréable et spacieux
Nous avons réservé le gîte pour un séjour avec un vingtaine de collégiens avec notre association. Le gîte était très agréable et spacieux, une belle cuisine équipée. Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Par contre, nous pensions avoir un salon avec des canapés comme indiqué sur l'annonce mais nous avons découvert en arrivant que nous n'y avions pas accès. C'est dommage car nous n'avions aucun espace plus confortable pour les temps libres des jeunes et comme nous n'avons pas été prévenus nous n'avons pas pu prévoir de ramener des coussins et poufs.

Bonjour, je vous remercie pour votre message. Le forfait ménage n'est pas noté sur le contrat de location établi par "Gîtes de France.
C'est une option facultative qui est proposée à l'état des lieux de sortie mais qui est en aucun cas obligatoire. -

C’est déjà la 4 ou 5 fois que nous séjournons dans ce gîte, et j’avais d’ailleurs déjà laissé un avis très positif par le passé. C’est un lieu idéal pour accueillir un grand groupe, aussi bien d’adultes que d’enfants.
Cependant, cette fois-ci, nous avons été désagréablement surpris de constater que le montant de la caution avait quasiment doublé depuis et malgré la signature du contrat, ce qui nous semble incorrect. J’ai exprimé mon désaccord, sans succès. Cela pose la question de la validité du contrat.
Mis à part cet incident, nous avons une fois de plus passé un excellent séjour et restons très attachés à ce gîte.- Cleanliness
