Stay in this characterful Holiday cottage in Quaëdypre, in the heart of Flanders, right on the Côte d'Opale. Nestled in an old farmhouse dating from 1713, on a peaceful 5-hectare property, this Holiday cottage invites you to enjoy an authentic experience combining nature, heritage and conviviality. Florence and her Kids warmly welcome you for a rejuvenating stay with family, friends or business travelers. From the moment you arrive, you'll enjoy a calm, green environment, ideal for relaxing and reconnecting with the essentials. The Holiday cottage has its own private 100 m² enclosed garden, with no overlooking, equipped with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecues (electric and charcoal), perfect for sharing convivial outdoor moments. Designed for the comfort of all, the Holiday cottage is also suitable for families with young Kids, thanks to its complete baby equipment (bed, high chair, bathtub, changing mat, adapted crockery...). A communal area with table soccer and ping-pong table will delight young and old alike. Parking is available for several vehicles, as is space for bikes and motorcycles. Ideally located, this Holiday cottage is the perfect starting point for discovering the region's tourist attractions. Bergues, with its ramparts and Flemish charm, is just 4 km away. Just 10 km away, Esquelbecq, elected Village Préféré des Français 2023, invites you to stroll through its narrow streets, bookshops and Markets, in the heart of the first book village north of Paris. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux. Notre séjour dans ce gîte en pleine nature a été paisible et ressourçant. Les enfants ont profité de la salle de jeux équipée d'un babyfoot et d'une table de ping-pong. Un grand merci aux propriétaires.

Familie M. Un hébergement magnifique
Nous avons pu passer deux semaines dans ce superbe appartement de vacances et nous nous sommes sentis parfaitement à l'aise. Le S'abs'hof est situé au milieu de la verdure et a offert à nos enfants beaucoup d'espace pour jouer et se défouler. L'appartement était parfaitement équipé et rien n'y manquait. L'hôtesse, très chaleureuse, a toujours été à l'écoute et a réagi rapidement et simplement aux questions.
En même temps, le gîte est un excellent point de départ pour des excursions en France (Lille, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Les Deux Caps, Dunkerque etc.) et en Belgique (Ypres, Anvers, Bruges etc.). Et avec la plage de Bray-Dunes, un magnifique coin de terre se trouve quasiment sur le pas de la porte.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement ! Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour très agréable et reposant !

Zwei Wochen durften wir in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung verbringen und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der S‘abs‘hof liegt Mitten im Grünen und bot unseren Kindern viel Platz zum Spielen und Toben. Die Wohnung war bestens ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Die sehr herzliche Gastgeberin hatte stets ein offenes Ohr und reagierte bei Fragen schnell und unkompliziert.
Gleichzeitig ist das Gîte ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Frankreich (Lille, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Les Deux Caps, Dunkerque etc.) und nach Belgien (Ypern, Antwerpen, Brügge etc.). Und mit dem Strand von Bray-Dunes liegt ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde quasi vor der Haustür.
Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Vielen Dank für die sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit!

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin verlief reibungslos – kleinere Unstimmigkeiten konnten direkt und unkompliziert per WhatsApp geklärt werden, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Ihre schnelle und freundliche Reaktion hat maßgeblich zu unserem positiven Gesamteindruck beigetragen.
Das Anwesen selbst hat viel Charme und bietet eine wunderbare Grundlage für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Dennoch möchten wir anmerken, dass an einigen Stellen Nachbesserungen sinnvoll wären, um das volle Potenzial des Hauses auszuschöpfen. Ein solches Anwesen lebt von seinem Charakter – und dieser könnte durch mehr Liebe zum Detail noch stärker hervorgehoben werden.
Einige Bereiche wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen oder überladen. Gerade in einer Ferienunterkunft darf gerne einmal aussortiert werden – viele Utensilien, die für Gäste wenig Nutzen haben, könnten entfernt werden, um mehr Raum und Klarheit zu schaffen. Weniger ist hier manchmal mehr!
Trotz dieser kleinen Kritikpunkte haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus weiterempfehlen – besonders für Gäste, die eine persönliche Atmosphäre, viel Ruhe und ein authentisches französisches Ambiente zu schätzen wissen.
