Our Holiday cottage invites you to discover the peace, quiet and greenery of the Countryside as far as the eye can see. Nestled in the heart of the Parc Naturel de l'Avesnois, our former stable is located between Avesnes Sur Helpe and Maubeuge. You'll be 19 km from the Val Joly tourist resort.
You'll be able to take advantage of a multitude of Hiking trails, including the famous "voie verte", a 30 km itinerary dedicated to all types of hiking and accessible to all.
Our Holiday cottage is located close to the Eurovélo 3 cycle route, the Scandibérique, and the Avesnois "points nœuds" network. A hiking trail is directly accessible from the Holiday cottage.
The Musverre de Sars Poteries is 2 km away and the Forum Antique de Bavay 26 km. Maubeuge is 14 km away, Mons in Belgium 40 km, Valenciennes 54 km, Saint-Quentin 79 km, Lille 100 km, Louvre-Lens and Brussels 110 km.
Shops 2.5 km away. Maubeuge train station 12 km away.
Holiday cottage adjoining a house located 200m from the village center.
First floor: Living room with wood-burning stove (wood provided free of charge), 80cm TV and WIFI (fiber optic).
Open kitchen equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, 4-burner ceramic hob, oven, filter coffee maker, kettle, washing machine with dryer...
Separate WC.
Upstairs: one bedroom with two single beds 90x190cm, convertible into a double bed 140x190cm.
One bedroom with double bed 160x200cm. Baby bed available.
Ventilator available on request.
A bathroom with Italian shower 90X90cm.
420m² enclosed garden overlooking the Countryside with garden furniture, deckchairs and charcoal barbecue.
Parking for several cars in front of the Holiday cottage. Bike shed and two bicycles available.
Utilities included, wood for the fireplace and bed linen.
End-of-stay cleaning is optional.

Gîte complet, bien équipé et organisé judicieusement. La mise à disposition de linges de toilettes et un petit panier d'accueil (café, thé...) serait un plus appréciable.

Stéph Gîte très confortable au coeur de l'Avesnois
Le gîte est un petit nid douillet en plein coeur de la très belle région de l'Avesnois.
Il est très bien équipé et très propre. Rien ne manque. La literie est par ailleurs très confortable.
Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute au printemps ou en été afin de profiter de la terrasse qui offre une vue superbe.- Cleanliness
