Rejuvenate in this 180-year-old former mill, a haven of peace in the heart of the green Thiérachian meadows. You'll be delighted to discover the gîte's magnificent cellar (former cheese factory) transformed into a splendid relaxation area where a private swimming pool, covered and heated all year round, is at your disposal. In addition to caring for your Wellbeing, the creator and former owner, Mr. Bronsin, was one of the first Thiérachiens to use a new energy source, geothermal energy, almost two decades ago! The new owners invite you to enjoy a breath of fresh air in the heart of this unspoilt natural setting.

Renovated former mill, on the banks of a small river (gated access), in the center of the village, adjoining the owners' house with independent access.
Private indoor Piscine 6x3 meters, 1.10 meters deep (access by wide steps), heated and accessible all year round from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

First floor: kitchen, dining/living room with 106 cm TV and DVD player, fireplace. 1 bedroom with 1 bed 160X200cm. Bathroom. Separate WC.
First floor: mezzanine with pool table. 2 bedrooms (one with a 140x190cm bed and one with two 90x190cm beds). Bathroom with 80x80cm shower. Separate WC.
The 800m2 garden is level with the private parking lot. It is fenced and gives access by the bridge to the Holiday cottage and its private terrace of 40m² and its private lawn of 50 m².
Central heating by heat pump. 1st basket of wood offered, payable for subsequent baskets.
Wifi (fiber optics).
Electricity point 2 km from Holiday cottage.

Tout d'abord un grand plaisir de retrouver Delphine et JB dont j'avais fait la connaissance il y a quelques années chez un ami commun en Baie de Somme pour découvrir la Thiérache et un environnement que nous ne connaissions pas.
Excellent accueil de nos hôtes dans ce lieu qui incite vraiment à la détente et qui permet de vraiment se vider la tête dans un endroit calme avec le bruit de la rivière à proximité.
Le gîte est bien agencé, il ne manque rien et les petits-enfants en ont vraiment profité et ils garderont un joli souvenir de cette balade en barque sur l'étang où JB nous a conduit et de cette leçon de choses sur le thème de la nature et de la botanique ainsi que la découverte des Oreilles-de-Judas qui ont fini sur le plancha le soir....
Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et bien sur des parties de billard acharnées presque tous les soirs.
Bref, une semaine trop courte pour tout faire où nous avons particulièrement réussi au niveau météo.
Nous recommandons évidemment ce gîte où nous aurons surement l'occasion de revenir.

Très joli moment en famille, le gite est lumineux, calme et confortable, et l'accueil des propriétaires a été parfait. Un vrai plus avec le billard et la piscine pour un séjour avec des ados... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
