Gîte of 120 m² independent, quiet at the back of the property. Private enclosed garden (500 m²) with garden furniture and parasol. On-site parking within the property.
Ground floor: dining room with open kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer), stove. Living room with TV. WC. Washing machine.
Upstairs: 2 spacious bedrooms with 2 single beds (90x200) each. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160x200). Bathroom. WC.
Beds made on arrival and towels provided (included in the price). Animal welcome (free, animal deposit of 100 €). Wireless.
Central heating with shredded wood. Wood stove. (wood included for heating and stove). Cleaning fee included. Internet with fiber.
Green'up socket available for electric vehicles: "conditions of use to be discussed on site with the owner". Quietly, the 120 m² house is nestled in a loop of the Ton river, within the 5,000 m² wooded park of Isabelle and Yves' property (2 guest rooms in their home). We will be happy to welcome you there. Yves will be happy to explain his job to you: sheep farming.
If you wish, Isabelle, Aisne greeter, will take you on a discovery of the bocage. The fresh grass and the soft morning light will leave you with unique memories.
If you come with an animal, do not forget to report it. He will be welcome. Having a dog ourselves, please let us know the breed of yours.

Isabelle, Greeter de l'Aisne (réseau d'habitants qui vous accueillent en ami) pourra vous accompagner dans le bocage pour vous faire découvrir la particularité du paysage qui vous entoure et l'importance de la biodiversité .

L'accueil a été chaleureux et familial. Les hôtes ont été très accommodants et nous ont gentiment proposé de nous faire visiter leur ferme tout en maintenant une distance très respectueuse avec le gite au fond du domaine.- Cleanliness 5/5

Vacances d'automne
5/5Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances, la petite maison est très fonctionnelle spacieuse.
Il ne manque rien, le propriétaire à notre arrivée nous a bien accueillis.
La maison est bien chauffée !
Le fait que les lits soient faits, linge de bain et pour la cuisine permet de partir plus sereinement et c'est appréciable.
La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter pas loin de la Belgique.
La maison est au calme c'est appréciable pour bien se reposer.

5/5Petite maison très confortable et endroit d'un calme absolu. On s'y sent tout de suite bien et on n'a plus envie de repartir. L'accueil des propriétaires est exceptionnel et les œufs des poules délicieux. On reviendra certainement.

We had a really nice time!
5/5We stayed for two weeks at the gite, together with our two children aged 10 and 11. The Gite is very large and has all the appliances needed. The beds are also very comfortable. The house is located behind the chateau with a very large garden with chickens and sheeps. Our daughters helped Yves every morning and evening to bottle feed the lambs. They really enjoyed that and where constantly on the lookout to see if Yves passes by with the milk bottles. In the evening we could build a fire on a fire place in the garden and bake bread on a stick. Near the Gite is a farm with cows. Also there we were welcome to see the calf's and cows.
The area is located near a very small village with very kind people. The are is good for cycling and walking. Also it is very close to the Ardennes. Shops are 10 min drive away.
One of the best things about the Gite are the owners. Yves and Isabelle made us feel very welcome. Thank you for the wonderful holiday!
