To come to La Manante is to find peace and quiet in a small village in the middle of the countryside.
At the rear of the garden, you'll find a pleasant path for country walks.
Nearby, you can fish or walk in the Souche marshes (15 km away), visit the Thiérache region and its fortified churches, as well as the Musée des Temps Barbares and its archaeological park at Marle (14 km away).
Laon (medieval city, cathedral, Paris 2024 preparation center) 31 km away, Familistère Godin in Guise 36 km away, Chemin des Dames - Caverne du Dragon - Visitor Center 38 km away, Reims (Reims mountain, cathedral, champagne vineyards) 57 km away. Chimay (Belgium) less than an hour away.
73 m² house in village center, adjoining houses.
Private enclosed garden of 300 m². Private 30 m² terrace with garden furniture, gas barbecue. Table tennis and badminton set available.
Garage across the street for parking a car or motorcycle, or storing bicycles.
First floor: Living/dining room with 94cm flat-screen TV. Fully-equipped kitchen (4-burner gas hob, built-in oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, extractor hood, dishwasher) and pellet stove (1st bag of pellets offered, then €8/bag supplement). Bathroom (120x80cm shower and washbasin). Separate WC.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed (160x200cm) and one with 2 single beds (90x200cm).
Gîte CHARGES NOT INCLUDED. Bed linen provided and towels extra. Household cleaning obligatory.
Wifi access. Baby equipment (bed, high chair, bathtub, changing mat, etc.).
No arrivals or departures on Sundays.

5/5Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Montigny-le-Franc. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, gîte très bien équipé et confortable, très bonne literie.
L'Aisne est un département très riche en monuments et sites remarquables. Le séjour s'est donc révélé beaucoup trop court pour découvrir un patrimoine aussi important.- Cleanliness 5/5

5/5Nous avons passés un excellent séjour , nous revenons pour une 2e fois , même si le beau temps n était pas là, les propriétaires sont charmants toujours aux petits soins pour leurs locataires , le gîte impeccable rien a dire , tout le confort et de belles balades a découvrir .

dans une région qui mérite le détour et de battre en brèche les apriori!
dans un gite très fonctionnel, très propre avec un accueil discret mais très attentionné!
Merci aux propriétaires pour les petites attentions(partage de récolte de fruits)et le suggestions de balades ou de visites.
Le village est certes isolé (donc nécessité d'une voiture) mais le calme et le repos sont assurés.
L'adresse mérite d'être notée!
