This typical Thiérache village is home to an old stable that has been renovated to create a gîte decorated in warm, predominantly yellow tones. Contemporary and modern furnishings brighten up the place and give it a charming feel. A true haven of peace in the countryside, just a stone's throw from fortified churches, the Familistère and Château-Fort de Guise, Saint-Michel Abbey and maroilles farms.
You'll be tempted to indulge by the welcome hamper.
Hirson 9.5 km, Vervins (stronghold of Maroilles cheese) 14 km, Belgium 18 km, Laon (Paris 2024 base) and Charleville-Mézières 56 km, Saint-Quentin 63 km.
76 m² gîte located in the hamlet of La Cense des Nobles, 1 km from the village center.
Former outbuildings of a late 19th century farmhouse, completely renovated.
Private entrance with parking (up to 3 cars). South-facing terrace. Private enclosed garden of 400m². Access to 3000m² playground (trampoline, swing).
First floor: Kitchen opening onto dining/living room with 106cm flat-screen TV and wood-burning stove. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190), shower room with corner shower and WC.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, 1 with 1 double bed (140x190) and 1 with 2 single beds (90x190). WC.
All-inclusive gîte (bed linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning and energy charges included in price). Free Wifi.
The wood-burning stove will be your companion to warm you up and extend your evenings (1st basket of wood free, then €4 for the next).
Pets allowed (additional €100 deposit required by owners).

Merci pour cette halte automnale. L'ambiance sera différente lorsque vous reviendrez en été 2025 pour l'édition de la célèbre Fête des Hameaux.

Très bien et confortable
5/5Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un lieu calme, propre et parfaitement adapté aux enfants. Il y a un grand jardin avec pleins de jeux pour les enfants. Nous avons pu goûter et faire des plats avec les nombreuses pommes du jardin. Enfin nous avons adoré nous réchauffer le soir avec un bon feu de bois.

4/5Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Gite de la Cense ,calme et verdure étaient au rendez-vous dans cette jolie campagne que nous avons découvert
Nous avons apprécié le grand espace de jeux pour les enfants ,l'agréable terrasse ,la literie confortable ,l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes.
