Welcome to Mireille and Jacques, where history and hospitality meet in a charming 1825 brick house nestled in the picturesque countryside of the Oise Valley and Thon en Thiérache. Discover the architectural treasures of the fortified churches, or set off on a hike along the bucolic trails. For horse-riding enthusiasts, we are pleased to offer the possibility of accommodating horses.
Just a stone's throw from Eurovélo 3: "La Scandibérique", our guest house is the ideal place for cyclists in search of adventure. A barn is available to safely store your bikes.
Just 6 km from Hirson, 10 km from Vervins, and a short drive from the Ardennes, you'll be spoilt for choice for your excursions. Don't miss the Familistère de Guise 33 km away, the Val Joly, a tourist resort 38 km away, or the dynamic City of Saint-Quentin, 58 km away and famous for being a preparation center for the 2024 Games.
Five spacious guest rooms on the first floor of the owner's home.
The Rose, Jaune and Verte rooms each have a 140x190cm bed.
The Blue room with three 90x190cm beds.
The Suite room with a relaxation area equipped with a sofa bed 140x190cm and two beds 90x190cm.
Each room has a TV, WIFI, private bathroom with shower cubicle and WC.
Breakfast includes brioche and home-baked bread cooked over a wood fire.
Terrace next to a secure lake.
Room with ping-pong table, fitness equipment and spa (fee: €20/person/hour; booking to be arranged directly with the owner).

PG 55 Une maison de charme bien entretenue .
Vous pourrez bénéficier d’un accueil charmant, un excellent rapport qualité/prix et beaucoup de liberté pour sortir à l’extérieur. Chambre spacieuse, très bonne literie .
Parking vl ok et petit déjeuner maison agréable.

Belges en balade Agréable nuitée en chambre d'hôtes authentique
Une très agréable nuitée et petit déjeuner grâce à l'accueil de notre hôtesse dans sa charmante maison décorée avec goût.
Nous avons logé dans la chambre jaune, spacieuse et lumineuse, sans oublier le mobilier ancien et la déco judicieusement choisis et qui ajoutent au cachet des lieux qui ravira les amoureux de ce type d'ambiance.Arrivés avec nos vélos, nous avons découvert les alentours, villages, églises fortifiées, reliés par différents itinéraires sur voies vertes.
Nous avons ensuite pu les ranger hors vue pour la nuit.Literie très confortable, sdb impeccable, tenir compte d'une faible insonorisation pour les personnes ayant le sommeil léger (parquets chambres et couloir), ce qui est normal dans les maisons anciennes.
Nous avons passé une excellente nuit au calme, chacun étant attentif à respecter les hôtes des chambres voisines comme toujours en chambres d'hôtes.
Le lendemain matin, notre hôtesse nous avait préparé un délicieux petit déjeuner, brioche, pain et confitures faits maison, oeufs du poulailler, un régal en son agréable compagnie.Nous la remercions et reviendrons avec plaisir!
