The private terrace offers exceptional panoramic views over the City and surrounding mountains: the perfect place to enjoy a coffee at sunrise, share an outdoor meal or simply enjoy the tranquility of the Hautes Vosges. From the Holiday cottage, trails lead off in all directions, inviting you to go hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking or for more contemplative strolls through woods and high-altitude meadows. The location also makes it easy to get to the massif's must-see sites: Lac des Corbeaux and Lac de Blanchemer, the Hohneck crests, Gérardmer and Longemer lakes and the area's emblematic mountain passes. In winter, La Bresse-Hohneck, Lispach and Gérardmer offer Alpine skiing, Nordic trails, tobogganing and panoramic routes. (Remember to equip yourself accordingly: chains or snow tires are recommended on the higher slopes). Local enthusiasts will also find plenty to get excited about: traditional crafts (confectionery, clog-making, local workshops), farm inns on the crests, seasonal markets, tourist attractions and emblematic events such as the Daffodil Festival.
