Le chalet Jean de Houx

Nestled at an altitude of 840 meters on the Col de Sapois, this modern chalet with bay windows overlooks a sunny 40-acre plot with an 800 m2 pond. Ideally located close to the forest and hiking trails, it's perfect for nature lovers. You'll also have the chance to visit the owners' farm, where you'll meet 4 alpacas, 2 donkeys, 5 sheep, 3 Shetland ponies, chickens, ducks, 2 cats and Border Collies. This peaceful haven is just 5 minutes from Gérardmer, famous for its magnificent lake and ski area, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and proximity to local attractions. Dogs are welcome at a supplement of €25 per stay, and we provide towels, blankets, bowls, poop bags and toys.

Chalet on 2 levels. It comprises on the first floor :
- living room with open fireplace:
Dining area for up to 6 people.
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator. Freezer compartment 3-burner induction hob. Oven. Dishwasher. Nespresso and piston coffee makers. Waffle maker. Raclette and fondue maker. Kettle and toaster.
Living room with connected TV, sofa, armchair and coffee table. Connected speaker. Wii U console and board games.
- Bedroom with 160/200 bed.
- A shower room with WC: 80 x 150 shower. Washbasin. Electric towel dryer. Hair dryer.
Second floor:
- a mezzanine (attic) with :
A sleeping area with 2 beds 80/200 (they can be joined together to make a bed 160/200) and a trundle bed with two mattresses 80/200.
Laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
Washbasin unit.
Water is supplied by a well. The owners provide 5-liter bottles of drinking water. Well water is non-drinkable.
Private, unfenced grounds with pond. Garden table with bench and barbecue available. Double hammock. Badminton, Molkky.
All-inclusive price: Linen included, sheets included and beds made up on arrival, towels included. End-of-stay cleaning included. Wood provided for fireplace.
Private parking in front of the accommodation.
Breakfast available if requested in advance (€9/per person per day: fresh bread and pastries, home-made apple juice, local yoghurt, farm eggs, seasonal milk and fruit, butter, cheese, ham).
A maximum of one dog allowed, with a supplement of €30 for the stay: Towel, blanket, bowls, poop bag, games available. Other animals not allowed. No smoking.
