The valley also abounds in must-see tourist sites. Among them, the City-sur-Illon beer museum immerses you in local brewing history, while Châtillon-sur-Saône, listed as one of the most beautiful villages of character, invites you to step back in time through its narrow streets and preserved heritage. The Verrerie de Passavant-la-Rochère, the oldest art glassworks still in operation in France, offers a fascinating immersion in glassmaking know-how. The Musée du verre, du fer et du bois d'Hennezel highlights the valley's industrial and craft traditions. Finally, in Mirecourt, the cradle of French violin making, you can visit the Museums dedicated to this exceptional craft, as well as to embroidery, another local specialty.
