La Cabane du Trappeur

Nestled in an idyllic forest setting on the edge of a private pond, this fully-equipped, comfortable wooden house is the perfect place to take in the sights and enjoy the gentle sounds of lapping water and passing birds. The living room's large south-facing windows offer a bird's-eye view of the pond, where the carp peacefully swim. A rare and unusual experience for two or friends (max. 4 adults), for a rejuvenating stay just outside Epinal. A wood-fired sauna, a large barbecue and acres of forest await you for pleasure, pleasure and relaxation in this green setting. And why not take a dip in the pond and let yourself be lulled to sleep? Fishing not permitted.

Kitchen. Living room with sofa bed and wood-burning stove. Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom and a mezzanine with sleeping facilities (1 double bed and a quality double sofa bed). A mezzanine with a double sofa-bed (convertible into 2 separate or joint beds). Shower room. Separate WC. Balcony/terrace overlooking the pond. Barbecue. Garden furniture. Bed linen and towels provided.
If you wish, you can take a wellness break in the wood-fired sauna and in the shade of the forest. On request, you can use the owners' washing machine (300m from the cabin).
The gîte has been designed to be environmentally friendly. Electricity is supplied by solar panels, and 2 thermal panels provide hot water. Two large gas bottles supply the gas stove. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove, which can also be used to cook tasty meals in its built-in oven. Pizzas, baeckeofe and other traditional dishes can all be prepared on site!

Access to the gîte is via a forest path. In wet weather, vehicles can be parked 500 m away.
