Gîte de la Grangeotte

In Xonrupt-Longemer, in the heart of the Hautes Vosges, this fully-renovated Vosges farmhouse full of character welcomes up to 10 guests for a natural and convivial stay. Situated at an altitude of around 800 meters, on the edge of the Forest, it offers a peaceful, unspoilt setting, ideal for getting together with family or friends, close to the Lakes and Gérardmer. The property comprises two self-contained units in an old farmhouse measuring around 130 m². Each has its own private entrance and terrace, guaranteeing comfort and privacy. When rented as a whole, the entire house is made available; when rented separately, a locked door keeps the two accommodations clearly separate. This configuration is ideal for groups wishing to share time together while maintaining separate areas. The Holiday cottage is set in 17,000 m² of natural grounds, including a private pond that contributes to the calm and authentic atmosphere of the place. For safety reasons, Fishing is strictly forbidden and access to the pond is under the parents' responsibility for Kids. The location is particularly popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Numerous Hiking trails leave directly from the property, offering immediate access to the forests and landscapes of the Hautes Vosges. Lake Longemer is just a few minutes away by car, as is Gérardmer, with its lake, shops, entertainment and events all year round. In summer, enjoy Hiking, mountain biking, water sports on the lakes and farm inns. In winter, the ski areas of Gérardmer, La Bresse-Hohneck, Lispach and Xonrupt are ideal for Alpine skiing, Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The region also offers a wealth of cultural and culinary delights, from local crafts to Vosges specialities. The house is divided into two Holiday cottages. An interior door on the second floor allows communication between the 2 dwellings.

Holiday cottage de la Grangeotte 1: Accommodation on two levels, comprising:
First floor:
- Living room :
- Sitting area: corner sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV, wifi access.
- Fully equipped kitchen: induction hob, microwave, oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, kettle, filter and Senseo coffee maker, toaster. Kitchen utensils. Dining area with table and chairs for up to 6 people.
- Bedroom with double bed (140x200cm).
- Bathroom with corner shower cubicle. Washbasin. Hairdryer and heated towel rail.
- Separate toilet.
- Wooden balcony with table and chairs. Private barbecue available in the grounds below. Staircase between terrace and grounds.

First floor:
- One bedroom with two 90x190cm beds and en-suite shower room: shower, washbasin, storage space, heated towel rail. WC
- A parental suite with a 160X200cm bed and en-suite shower room: shower, washbasin, storage space, heated towel rail. WC

Holiday cottage de la Grangeotte 2: located on the 1st floor, it comprises :

- Kitchen: induction hob, microwave, oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, kettle, filter and Senseo coffee maker, toaster. Kitchen utensils.

- A large living room with a sitting area and a sleeping area. With a 140x190cm sofa bed and a 160x200cm bed. Connected TV. WIFI CONNECTION.

- Bathroom with large shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and hairdryer.

- Wooden terrace with chairs and table. Private barbecue available in the grounds below. Stairs between terrace and grounds.

- Separate WC

Utilities are included. Bed linen and towels are included. Towels and cleaning optional. 2 pets are allowed in the Holiday cottage only if they do not climb on the sofa and beds, and do not stay alone in the Holiday cottage (15 € per pet per stay) A video-surveillance system is installed on site (outside only), for your security.
