Atypical little farmhouse in the Hautes-Vosges near GERARDMER: Isolated hamlet 680 m above sea level - on the heights of Tendon. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing setting in the heart of the Vosges mountains, our "Gentiane" gîte is just what you're looking for. A large plot of land around the farm offers plenty of room to play and peace and quiet. The gîte is an ideal base for hiking. You'll discover the Tendon waterfalls and the Roches de la Moulure. For mountain bikers, there are a number of circuits in the surrounding area and in the Hautes Vosges massif, Visorando. The village of Tendon hosts the bread festival on July 21, 2024. The gîte is 8km from the village of Réhaupal, home to the Domaine du Haut Jardin, a magnificent gourmet restaurant. You can also reserve a moment of relaxation in their wellness area. You're just 15 minutes from Lac de Gérardmer and its water sports activities (sailing, pedal boats, canoeing...), Fantasticable and its beautiful downhill and cross-country ski slopes for the winter season. Gérardmer is a lively town in both summer and winter. In the Massif Vosgien, you can also drive to La Bresse and stop off at Bol d'Air, or continue on to the Hohneck and hike the ridges for a breathtaking view and change of scenery. Just a 20-minute drive from the gîte, the highest parish in the Vosges, perched at an altitude of 827 metres, the village known as "le Haut du Tôt", awaits you for beautiful walks. You can visit the "Les sentiers de la photo" exhibition, the plant festival, the wood festival... (dates available from the Vagney tourist office). The gîte offers an exceptional setting on the edge of the forest.
Gîte 90m2, comprising on the ground floor:
- Fully equipped kitchen, 3 gas rings and one electric, mini-oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. SENSEO, toaster, kettle. Kitchen utensils. Pellet stove.
- Large living room with dining area for up to 8 people. TV. WIFI. Wood-burning fireplace.
- Italian shower room (90/90), WC, electric towel dryer and hairdryer.

3 terraces with garden furniture and a large green space including a playground with stabilized soil: pétanque, basketball, ...

First floor:
- Two bedrooms with 140/190 beds.
- One bedroom with a 140/90 bed and a 90/190 bed.
- Bathroom with WC. A bath, washbasin and hairdryer.

The price includes wood for the fireplace and pellets for the stove. Bed linen provided and beds made up on arrival.

Consumption: 8kwh are included per day, if exceeded: meter reading and electricity cost (0.2€/kwh).
