From the Chalet, a number of footpaths take you quickly to the forests, belvederes and emblematic viewpoints of the Pearl of the Vosges. Designed to combine modern comfort with a warm atmosphere, the Chalet features large, bright living spaces, ideal for reunions and relaxing vacations. The large windows offer unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside, while the outside areas invite you to dine al fresco or contemplate the Vosges landscape. Its exceptional location is a real asset for discovering Gérardmer and the Hautes Vosges. Just a few minutes away, you'll have access to the Lake for water sports (pedal-boating, paddle-boating, swimming, sailing), as well as to the signposted paths that run along the banks or up into the surrounding Forest. The region's must-see attractions are within easy reach: Lac de Longemer, Lac de Retournemer, Vallée des Lacs, Col de la Schlucht, Route des Crêtes and panoramas of the Hohneck. In winter, the Chalet is just a short distance from Gérardmer's ski slopes (Alpine and Nordic) and neighboring resorts: La Bresse-Hohneck, Xonrupt-Longemer and Lispach. Sledging, snowshoeing, Cross-country skiing and a magical atmosphere round out the season's pleasures. Heritage and crafts enthusiasts will enjoy local confectionery, traditional clog-making, old-fashioned sawmills, year-round Museums and themed tours. The Chalet's location also makes it easy to reach Alsace for a gourmet or cultural getaway, or to discover the famous Christmas Markets less than an hour away. The Chalet comprises: Ground floor: - A living area comprising: - A kitchen equipped with 4 ceramic hobs, American fridge with freezer compartment, filter and Dolce Gusto coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave and kitchen utensils. Electric oven. Dishwasher. Raclette, fondue, soup mixer, mixer... - Dining area for 10 people. Baby Foot - Lounge with large corner sofa, connected TV and WIFI - Suite with double bed (140x190cm) and two bunk beds (80x190cm). Bathroom with WC: 80x120cm shower. Double washbasin. Heated towel rail and hairdryer - A shower room comprising : 90x140cm shower. Double washbasin. Heated towel rail and hair dryer. - Separate WC with washbasin. - Terrace with covered garden furniture, plancha. Ping-pong table (rackets available) and a pétanque area (boules available) for convivial moments. Two paddles and a canoe kayak are available for use on the Lake (use with care). First floor: - Two bedrooms with double beds (140x190cm) - One bedroom with two single beds (90x190cm) - Separate WC with double washbasin and mirror. Heated towel rail. The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the entire stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption - A dedicated parking area is reserved for the chalet (4 spaces). A recharging station for electric vehicles is available for an additional charge of €25 per vehicle and for the duration of your stay.
