Detached chalet on three levels. Electric heating. Large 30 m² terrace. 22 m² garage (bikes/motorbikes only). Land of 23 ares. Wifi internet access.
Garden level: 1 bedroom (2 persons 1 bed 140/190 cm), Shower room and separate wc.
First floor: fitted kitchen opening onto living room, sitting room with wood-burning stove, shower room and separate toilet. Access to terrace.
First floor: Mezzanine with lounge / relaxation area and TV for DVD. 3 attic bedrooms (2 beds 140/190 and 2 beds 90/190 cm).
It is strongly recommended to have suitable car equipment for winter use. Garage for bikes or motorcycles, with sloping access.
If you did not take the housekeeping option initially, you are nevertheless free to request this service when you check out.
In this case, the amount of 75 € will be paid in cash to the agent, Mme MASSON.
Utilities not included: Electric heating is extra, depending on consumption: count €50 for normal consumption in cold weather.
Wood supplied without limit, but kindling not supplied (please note that it may be difficult to find kindling in the vicinity of the gîte if there is snow, so plan to buy it in a supermarket if necessary).
Baby equipment: car seat, cot, bathtub, stair gates.

Super sejour
5/5Maison très spacieuse, très bien équipée au niveau cuisine. Le niveau inférieur avec chambre/sdb permet une intimité vis à vis du reste de la maison. Il manque peut-être un peu d’isolation phonique entre les chambres d haut, mais sinon, la maison est très agréable.

Pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings
4/5We have visited the cottage first week in October. The roads to get to the cottage are narrow and steep. When there is snow this is might be a challenge. During our time spent the weather was verry sunny. However there was no sun at the veranda, due to the high trees at the side.
The cottage is spacy and well equipped. Two bathrooms and two toilets and 4 bedrooms. One set of bedroom, bathroom and toilet is located at the basement, we did not use that part of the house.
The kitchen was fully equipped, and spacy. A minor inconvenience is the situation of one central light at the kitchen ceiling, preparing meals, you do this in your own shadow. Additional light is well needed.
We were with 2 adults using the two bedrooms on de second floor. One is situated above the toilet and unfortunately the noise of the ventilation system is very present.
Beds are hard and good. With a length of 190cm, for us a little short both being 189cm in length, as the beds have plates at the foot end.
The surroundings are very quit in the evenings. However, during working hours there was, from time to time, a lot of noise from nearby industry. At dark we enjoyed viewing deer grazing in the garden and watched two buck in a fight for dominance of a pack.
The house is easy to warm with electrical heaters. Wood can be used to heat as well, plenty dry wood available. We spent our evenings outside at the veranda using the heat of the BBQ to keep us warm.
So all together it is a great cottage, we enjoyed our stay, and advise to improve the lights in the kitchen and reduce the noise of the ventilation system.- Cleanliness 4/5

Un peu déçu
2/5Le chalet manque d'entretien, moisissures dans les salles de bain ainsi que dans les grilles de ventilation de la vmc,poussière sur les meubles, la chambre située en rez-de-chaussée Jardin sent l'humidité ... le chalet est d'ancienne génération, impossible de se lever la nuit pour aller à la toilette sans réveiller tout le monde tellement le parquet ( lambris ) grince..un petit empierrement devant le chalet ne serait pas un luxe car quand il pleut on patauge dans la boue par endroit..la tv ne fonctionne pas correctement car la parabole capte mal... Dommage au vu du prix demandé pour la semaine...

Je suis désolé de lire que ces locataires n'ont apparemment pas apprécié leur séjour. Concernant l'entretien, je suis étonné de recevoir cette remarque car Alexandra qui gère le chalet a toujours apporté beaucoup de soin à son entretien et à son nettoyage et nous n'avons jamais reçu de commentaires négatifs à cet égard. Concernant les autres remarques, il me semble naturel que le bois constitutif d'un chalet de ce type connaisse un peu de jeu au fil des années, occasionnant ça et là quelques petits grincements. Concernant l'humidité, nous ne sommes malheureusement pas responsables de la météo et du caractère exceptionnellement pluvieux de ce mois de juillet et de l'humidité qu'il en a résulté dans la nature vosgienne et aux alentours du chalet.
