Une étape à la Mine, Chambre 000 "La Suite" (chambres 010 et 011)

The former Wendel coal-mining site in Petite-Rosselle, born in 1862, is now known as "Parc Explor Wendel", a leisure and cultural park for the whole family. It features the Museums Les Mineurs Wendel (special museum rate: 50% off the regular rate.) and the Wendel Mine, cycle paths and footpaths, as well as numerous activities to discover all year round (cultural events, Unusual tours, etc.). The only museum in France to offer 210m² of accommodation at its heart, our 6-bedroom Holiday cottage "Une étape à la Mine" sleeps 16, and is close to major roads and the German border. The World Cultural Heritage site of the Völklinger Hütte is just 10 minutes away, as is Forbach and its medieval Schlossberg castle. Sarreguemines, the city of earthenware par excellence, is only 30 minutes away, and Metz and its tourist attractions 50 minutes. In winter, it's the perfect place to explore and discover the most beautiful Christmas Markets in Moselle.

The “Suite,” with an area of 32 m², is ideal for a stay with family or friends. It consists of two separate bedrooms (Rooms 010 and 011, “Miners’ Locker Room”) and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer.
These rooms overlook the massive washhouse and industrial buildings, offering a unique immersive experience as well as a sense of calm and serenity.
Both rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a Tassimo coffee machine, Wi-Fi access, a desk, a safe, and a mini-refrigerator.
The “Vestiaire des mineurs” room, measuring 17.5 m², will charm you with its elegant decor in shades of beige and turquoise, inspired by the photographic work “Salle des pendus.” It features a high-end queen-size bed.
The second room, measuring 14.5 m², welcomes you with a vibrant Pepsi-inspired decor centered around the photographic work “Carreau de Mine.” It features bunk beds consisting of a standard double bed and a single bed, as well as a bathroom area with a sink and a hair dryer. A baby bed is available free of charge.
A discount of €78 during the low season and €92 during the high season is offered if you wish to book only the “Vestiaires des Mineurs, Room 010” (the second room, 011, will be closed).
Our living area is designed for enjoying quality time together: a shared fully equipped kitchen, dining room, pool table, and library.
A relaxation area equipped with a hydro-massage table is at your disposal.
A shared outdoor wellbeing area equipped with patio furniture, a Piscine, and a Spa is available from June 1 through September 30, weather permitting.
The price is all-inclusive and covers a continental breakfast served at Kaffeeklatsch, access to the relaxation areas, heating costs, electricity, and end-of-stay housekeeping.
Organizing or holding festive or noisy events is prohibited.

The price includes: bed linens, bath towels, household linens, housekeeping, electricity, and heating. The price does not include: the rate is all-inclusive. An electric car charging station is available in the museum parking lot. The outdoor wellbeing area is open annually from June 1 through September 30, weather permitting.
