Nestled between France, Luxembourg and Germany, our estate offers an intimate setting for a truly rejuvenating stay. Landscaped gardens, a large terrace overlooking nature, a private pontoon on the river and a pond for moments of contemplation create a setting where time slows down. Here, you don't just come to stay... you come to experience a place. Imagine your meals on the pontoon, by the water, in the morning in the soft light or in the evening at sunset, lulled by the murmur of the river and the sounds of living nature. Immersive activities include water sports (swimming, canoeing, kayaking), fishing, hiking and biking to take full advantage of the surrounding nature. For those who wish, we offer a Hiking trip at the pace of donkeys, a rare interlude: walking alongside these sensitive animals creates moments of simple, soothing complicity. The cultural dimension enriches the stay: heritage and discoveries of the three countries await you. From Saint-Etienne's Cathedral and the Centre Pompidou in Metz to the terraced vineyards of the Luxembourg Moselle, from UNESCO-listed Luxembourg City to the panoramas and loops of the Saar and the Baroque architecture of Saarbrücken. Not forgetting the Hackenberg, an astonishing historical curiosity, the incredible exhibits at Malbrouck Castle, cruises on the Moselle from Remich and the must-see Biodiversum nature center in Remerschen on the edge of the Haff Réimech nature reserve. Functional, light-filled perched Chalet, 40 m², accessed by a few steps. Living room with: fully-equipped kitchen (4 induction hobs, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, filter coffee maker, Senséo coffee maker), wood-burning stove, dining area and lounge area with TV (TNT channels available). One bedroom with double bed (140/190 cm) and one bedroom with bunk beds (80/190 cm - please note that the high bed is not suitable for Kids under 6) and desk. Bathroom (Italian shower) with WC. Large terrace with shade awning. Large enclosed garden with frog pond, swing, outdoor games. Direct access from the garden to a private pontoon on the banks of the River Nied. Private parking on enclosed property. Cabana with plancha and laundry area (washing machine, drying rack, freezer). Price includes: bed linen (beds made on arrival), table linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning and energy charges (electricity & wood) if consumption is reasonable. For electricity: €0.15/KhW surcharge if consumption exceeds 10 KhW/day. To allow you to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors instead, the chalet has no internet access, but the 4G network works perfectly. Here, nature is omnipresent: river, pond and frogs! Kids love it here, but parental supervision is still essential. Access to the chalet is via a forest path. For stays of 4 nights or more, half-day donkey rides are available and can be booked directly with the owners. Rates: 10€/person or 25€/family + 30€/donkey). Stays of less than 4 nights on request. 2 consecutive week rental (14 nights): 10% discount on the 2nd week.
