C'est un endroit hors du temps et loin des grandes routes que tous les amateurs de nature et de vieilles pierres ne pourront qu'apprécier. Découvrir Romécourt, c'est l'assurance de tomber sous le charme de cette ferme fortifiée du 16è siècle classée Monument historique, de son parc aux arbres multicentenaires et de sa chapelle (ouverts au public)... Le domaine de Romécourt appartient à ma famille depuis 1680. Nous y avions créé initialement des chambres d'hôtes en 2007 puis nous avons ouvert en juillet 2020 un gîte entièrement rénové et avons transformé les chambres d'hôtes en un 2ème gîte en 2021. Mon ambition est d'ouvrir ce lieu magique aux visiteurs avec tout le confort moderne. Pour des touristes respectueux de la nature qui pourront découvrir le pays des étangs et ses forêts, joyaux de la Moselle

Thank you very much for the warm welcome! We had a great holiday at Romécourt castle. The hosts live on the property and are available for questions and happy to give recommendations on things to do in the region. We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden view and the tranquility. The children enjoyed spotting deer, birds of prey and the life in the garden pond. The garden also offered a lot of room for them to get rid of their energy. The kitchen of the gîte is well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Especially the ground floor stayed nicely cool during this summer's extreme heat wave. Only drawback of the place is that it is quite far off the next supermarket and tourist attractions, be prepared for some driving.
