Holiday cottage in the heart of the Pays des Étangs, on the route of the Maginot Aquatic Line. Hoste should be a stop-off point for discovering our region. In this village, we try to preserve nature. We enjoy walking, fishing and cycling. We enjoy the changing colors of the water on the surface of the pond, depending on the season or the passing clouds. In spring, you'll come across swallows, and you'll have to look up to discover their hidden nests. You'll also come across the prestigious and elegant heron. The flight of the swans will amaze you. You'll discover the Maginot water line, imposing on our area with all its ponds, especially by bike. The cycle paths will take you to Saarbrücken, to the Mine Museum in Petite Rosselle, and along the towpaths. You'll also want to discover the sumptuous gardens of Bitche and Sarreguemines. Jeanne's house will be a stopover on this journey of discovery, with a view of the peaceful fishermen's cabins on the pond and the gardens behind the houses, whether on foot, by bike, motorcycle or car. Fishing enthusiasts can purchase a monthly fishing card (€40) for roach, carp, pike, pike-perch and perch from the town hall, or fish by the day at the 2 lakes in Puttelange aux Lacs (for daily cards, a 24-hour vending machine is located next to the town hall).

Equipped kitchen opening onto living room with view over the pond. 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed (140/190 cm) and the other with a king-size bed (180/200 cm, which can be separated into 2 single beds (90/200 cm) ON REQUEST). Separate bathroom and WC. Telework area with desk. Outside area: Garden furniture (barbecue, parasol, deckchairs) and relaxation area under a lean-to on a large enclosed plot shared with the owner. Shared laundry area (washing machine, tumble dryer). View over the Hoste pond, with direct access via the barn in the garden. Unenclosed private parking on the property. Covered space for 1 vehicle and secure bike/motorcycle storage available on request (free of charge).
