The farm has belonged to Marie-Claire's family for several generations. Before it became a farm (from 1835), it was inhabited by the schoolmaster, who received his pupils here. Its occupation is attested in the 17th century. Since 2009, the owners have been restoring the house with authentic attention to detail, restoring its "Lorraine" character. It is now ready to welcome and seduce you with its calm and serenity. Filstroff is a typical Lorraine village on the banks of the Nied (a tributary of the Saar), in a green, undulating landscape close to Germany (5km) and Luxembourg (25km). We're less than an hour from the vineyards of the Moselle Valley, from Sierck-les-Bains in France to Trier and Cochem in the Rhineland, via Schengen and Remich in Luxembourg. Metz, Thionville, Sarrelouis, Sarrebrücken and Luxembourg City are also close by... On site, anglers, hikers and canoeists can indulge in their favorite pastimes.

The Stock-Borren (old drinking trough) site is a farmhouse restored in the old-fashioned way: flagstones, clay plaster, limewash, old beams and stone. Large interior courtyard with mezzanine, and garden to the rear. While traditional in design, the house is equipped with all modern conveniences: wifi, TV, induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher etc. On the ground floor, you'll find: 1 bedroom with 1 single bed, a large living room and adjoining kitchen, a bathroom with shower and bath (and washing machine) and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms (one with 1 lorrain 1-person bed, two other bedrooms with 2 1-person beds each) as well as a shower room with shower. Price includes : Bed linen, towels, table linen and energy costs (heating and electricity). Price does not include: End-of-stay cleaning.
