Nestled at an altitude of almost 300 meters in Soucht, the cradle of glassmaking and clog-making, Marie-Josée and Bernard's gîte welcomes you for a stay in the heart of the Northern Vosges. In this charming, comfortable accommodation, you can relax after a day of discovery, in a wellness area with Spa and shower at your disposal. The location is ideal, with the Musée du Sabot and the Meisenthal glassworks within walking distance, as well as numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. The Altschlossfelsen rock, about 1.5km long and averaging between 15 and 20 metres in height, is a must-see and is nicknamed the "Colorado Rock". It's the American West of Moselle. Soucht also borders Alsace and is 30 minutes from Germany. Places to visit during your stay The world-renowned Musée du Cristal Saint Louis, the Citadelle de Bitche, a Vauban fortification and its peace garden, the Simserhof and Fort Casso, important works of the Maginot Line, the Musée Lalique (Alsace) dedicated to master glassmaker and jeweler René Lalique.

GROUND FLOOR, accessible via a staircase: large, fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator with freezer, stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, small appliances, raclette machine) with a large table and 8 chairs, open to the living room with a corner sofa and a large flat-screen TV. A wood-burning stove (wood provided) is available to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere for your winter evenings. Living room equipped with reversible air conditioning to help you stay comfortable on summer days. One bedroom with a 160 cm bed, a wardrobe with hanging space, and a dedicated workspace for telework. Laundry room with washer and dryer and cleaning supplies. Bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Separate toilet.
UPSTAIRS: 3 bedrooms (2 beds measuring 140 cm and 1 bed measuring 160 cm), each with a closet or walk-in closet and a standing fan. Bathroom with a toilet. Walk-in closet/gaming room.
GROUND FLOOR: Private Spa and shower in a 17 m² room. Bathrobes are available from October/November through March/April (weather permitting). For your comfort, especially in the summer, a second refrigerator is available (with additional ice trays).
OUTDOORS: pergola, patio furniture, high-quality barbecue, garden with 8 lounge chairs, and a small playground for Kids.
Garage for bicycles and motorcycles only. Private parking for up to 6 cars.
Family-friendly: Accommodates up to 8 adults and 4 infants—4 baby beds and 4 high chairs available.
Cleaning will be provided every 15 days, including a change of linens (included in the rate).
The holiday cottage has central heating.
Wellbeing: By RESERVATION for an additional fee, Jennifer from “Natur o pays du verre”—a certified California massage therapist from the Essenciel O Naturel School and a certified naturopath from the Plantasanté School in Obernai—can provide you with a moment of relaxation through a unique massage right at the holiday cottage. Full-Body Massage (1 hour 15 minutes) for 75€ per person – Upper-Body Massage (45 minutes) for 45€ per person – and Kids’ Massage (up to age 16) (30 minutes) for 25€ per child (upper body only).

Non-smoking holiday cottage. The all-inclusive rate includes: bed linens and towels for the duration of your stay, a final cleaning (excluding dishes and trash), and a mid-stay cleaning every 15 days with a linen change, heating and electricity (based on reasonable and moderate usage), and use of the Spa.
Baby equipment available: 4 baby beds + 4 high chairs.
