Le Refuge de Opa et Oma is located in the Northern Vosges in the Pays de Bitche. Close to Germany and Alsace Bossue, you can visit the region's state-owned forests, just a 2-minute walk from the gîte, and its castles overlooking the valley. The Meisenthal glassworks, with its museum and famous Christmas baubles, are less than 5 km away. A few kilometers further on, you'll discover the Cristallerie Lalique and the Cristallerie de Saint Louis. If you're also interested in remembrance tourism, the B&B is just a few kilometers from the Citadelle de Bitche, built by Vauban, as well as Simserhof and Fort Casso, part of the Maginot Line.

Le Refuge de Opa et Oma is an old family home that has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished. The gîte has a garden and a large private terrace, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The first floor features a living room, a fully-equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) and a wood-burning stove to warm up winter evenings. Still on the ground floor, you'll find a bedroom with a double bed and a crib, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs, the gîte has a library area, a bathroom (bath and WC) and 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed. Household linen, bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the price. Heating and electricity are included if consumption is reasonable.
