Welcome to this charming Holiday cottage in the heart of Achen, an authentic little village in the Pays de Bitche known as the Land of Glass and Crystal. Ideally situated between Bitche and Sarreguemines, its location will enable you to explore the cultural and natural riches of the Moselle and Alsace regions. The area around the Holiday cottage offers great Hiking opportunities for nature lovers. What's more, Philippe, the owner, is a beekeeper and will be delighted to show you around his apiary. Don't miss: the Maginot Line works (Haut-Poirier work on Achen). The Citadelle de Bitche, an imposing fortress designed by Vauban, now a museum retracing the region's military history. The "Colorado of Bitcherland", a unique rocky treasure straight out of the mountains of the American West in the commune of Roppeviller. Le Site verrier de Meisenthal, housed in a former glassworks, this museum traces the history of the local glassmaking tradition, with glassblowing demonstrations and a rich collection of glass art and Christmas baubles prized the world over. The Bliesbruck-Reinheim European Archaeological Park - an exceptional site illustrating Celtic and Gallo-Roman civilization straddling France and Germany. On the Alsatian side: the Lalique Museum in Wingen-sur-Moder, dedicated to master glassmaker and jeweler René Lalique. On the German side: Saarbrucken Zoo, open all year round, with over 150 species of animals.

70m² single-storey Holiday cottage (accessible by a few steps), adjoining the owners' house. Equipped kitchen opening onto the living room. 2 bedrooms: one with a 160/200 cm double bed, the other with two 100/190 cm Lorraine beds. Shower room with WC. Large veranda shared with the discreet owners, giving access to the private terrace and shared garden. On-site parking. Private terrace, enclosed garden shared with owners. Wifi free of charge. Price includes: bed linen (beds made on arrival), towels, table linen, end-of-stay cleaning and energy charges if consumption is reasonable. Non-smoking accommodation.
