Chambre Noix, Le Mont Cigale

The Noix Room is part of the "Le Mont Cigale" bed and breakfast, a true haven of peace where the owners do everything they can to ensure you have a peaceful stay and a moment of total relaxation. You’ll enjoy the guesthouse’s large grounds for relaxing, but because the property is vast, borders a forest, and includes unfenced areas and slopes, it is not suitable for young kids. The room features two single beds (90x210 cm) that can be pushed together or separated, along with a private bathroom and a private toilet, separate from the bathroom. This private room is located in a bed and breakfast that offers a total of 5 guest rooms. Shared with the other guest rooms: A 4m x 10m Piscine (specify opening period) and a pétanque court for guaranteed relaxation! The owners do everything they can to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Breakfast can be served indoors in a cozy living room or on the terrace so you can enjoy sunny mornings. Breakfast is included in the rate.

Welcome to Le Mont Cigale Guesthouse, located in the charming village of Vauquois. During your stay, you can explore the Butte de Vauquois: remnants of battles and an impressive network of tunnels dug during World War I. For nature lovers, there are several marked hiking trails offering panoramic views and the chance to observe the local flora around the hill. For the more active, you can go for bike rides (on quiet country roads) or mountain bike rides on forest trails.

- Verdun: the nearest major city and a must-see to round out a historical tour—the Douaumont Ossuary, battlefields, forts (Douaumont, Vaux), museums, and interpretation centers.
