Nearby attractions include: the Pierre-Percée lake and its port at "les Bordes", boat (electric motor), canoe and paddle rentals 5 km away, many local history and 14/18 remembrance museums that can be visited with various associations within a radius of 5 to 25 km, the Maison de la Forêt and its activities, and the Maison du Patrimoine in Badonviller. Badonviller is a village with a wide range of shops and services: bakeries, hairdressers, hardware/drugstores, butchers/caterers, pharmacies, medical centers, mini-markets, gas pumps/D.A.B./laundromats, post offices, newsagents/tobacco shops and, for meals, 3 establishments offering a choice of menus. A public electric recharging point is available 200 meters from the house.
