At Chalet des Roches, you can stay in the heart of nature, surrounded by the forest and its animals. Pond, bunker, views, paths, large sandstone rocks secured by railings... A variety of areas are available for walks, wildlife observation and relaxation. You may be lucky enough to spot deer in the early hours of the morning. This unusual gîte sits on pink sandstone rocks overlooking the Val-et-Châtillon church. Club Vosgien hiking trails leave from the village and lead to the Donon massif, the Col de la Chapelotte or the Lac de Pierre-Percée... The Maison de la Forêt, Center Parc des 3 forêts and Aventure Parc de Pierre-Percée are just a few kilometers away.

Chalet dating from 1896, fully renovated, on a wooded plot of almost one hectare.
Access via a clearing where you can leave your car, closed by a gate.
Access to the chalet is via a 60-metre-long path (gradient approx. 20 metres), so please be well-shod.
Luggage is transported by the owner using a zip line.
The accommodation comprises a main chalet and an annex chalet.
On the first floor of the main chalet: living room with fully-equipped kitchen area, lounge and dining area, shower room / WC.
External access to the first floor with balcony, 1 bed 160x200, communicating WC with washbasin.
Second bedroom in adjoining chalet with 1 bed 140x190 and 1 bed 90x190.
A covered outdoor area connects the 2 bedrooms in just a few meters.
Wifi access (fiber).
The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption.
Several areas have been set aside for you on the plot: garden furniture, 5 chairs and a barbecue next to the chalet, a 1st wooden picnic table under a lean-to and a second one further down with a breathtaking view of the Val-et-Châtillon church.
Please note that this accommodation is not suitable for tall people, as the ceiling height in the main room and 2nd bedroom is around 1.95 meters.
The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption.

Ernst Un maginifique mélange unique d'histoire et de charme
Un mélange unique d'histoire et de charme. Le gîte est situé sur un rocher surplombant une partie du village et au-delà. Magnifiquement restauré et adapté aux goûts du jour, il est bien équipé et offre tout le nécessaire pour des vacances. Même par temps chaud, il fait frais en bas. Et vous vous habituerez à la montée de 20 mètres. Chère Nathalie, merci pour votre aide précieuse, votre hospitalité et pour avoir partagé ce lieu unique.
Et en Anglais: A beautiful combination of history and cuteness. The gite is located on a rock overlooking parts of the village and beyond. It is beautifully restored and adapted to the current needs. It is well equipped and there is basically everything you may need for a vacation. Even in hot days it stays cool downstairs. And you will get used to the hike 20 metres up! Dear Nathalie, thank you for your great help and hospitality during our stay, and sharing this unique place.

Ce chalet permet en été de rester au frais, même en période de grandes chaleurs. De nombreuses balades sont possibles dans les environs. S'il est préférable d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer, il est largement possible d'utiliser le bus qui passe non loin. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil chaleureux !
