L'Escale Dorée

On the banks of the LAC DU DER, in the village of Giffaumont-Champaubert, Brigitte and Thierry open the doors of an old timber-framed farmhouse in the heart of a green setting for fishing, water sports and birdwatching enthusiasts. Nature's magnificent spectacle, with thousands of migratory birds in spring and autumn. You can rent our gîte for your vacations or weekends and enjoy the peace and quiet of the village while taking advantage of the proximity of the nautical resort with its port, beaches, casino, fishing and water sports facilities, cycle paths and hiking trails. You can rent quality bicycles on site.
Our 350m2 19th-century house has been fully restored to a very high standard. Renovation and refurbishment have been carried out to preserve the authenticity of the premises, while offering you excellent comfort and careful decoration using wood and natural materials.

In the main building, you'll find a living room on the first floor, comprising a kitchen opening onto the living room, a toilet and a utility room with storage space. Upstairs, you'll find a lovely, spacious living room for sharing.

In the extension of the main house, our 5 bedrooms each have their own independent entrance on the ground floor, access via the garden, and their own bathroom with shower and toilet: 3 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed on the ground floor and 2 single beds on the mezzanine, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed on the ground floor and 3 single beds on the mezzanine.

Outside, you'll find a heated swimming pool (open from early May to mid-September), large fenced garden with trees and private parking, garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue and table tennis.
